Former Lakeville mayor to run for Congresswoman Angie Craig’s seat

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Former Democratic state Senator Matt Little of Lakeville plans to run for Congress in Minnesota’s 2nd District next year.

Congresswoman Angie Craig announced this week that she’s running for the seat of retiring U-S Senator Tina Smith. Little says in a campaign release that he’s running for “every underdog out there, for every person working their tail off, chasing the American dream.”

Little served as mayor of Lakeville for two terms before being elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016.
