MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico extradited two suspected former leaders of the violent Los Zetas cartel to the United States on Thursday, according to a Facebook post by the Webb County Sheriff’s office in Texas.
Miguel Angel and Oscar Omar Trevino-Morales, both suspected high-ranking members of the cartel, were extradited, the sheriff’s office said while urging the public to be cautious of a violent response from the cartel in the Mexican city of Nuevo Laredo, south of the border from Laredo, Texas.
