Now that Elon Musk and all his young minions have your social security number and tax returns, he is in complete control of your life. Heโs a man that controls people by algorithms from your private information. He puts things in front of you in hopes of changing your mind. That is, if you disagree with him in the first place. If you agree, all he has to do is reassure your decision.
Let me give you an example: If he now knows you gave money to the humane society, does he know your politics? If he knows you support the Heritage Foundation, is it fair to assume you might be a conservative? Of course he would.
Heโs going to abuse that power. Heโll use every platform he can to make sure you see the posts that he wants you to see. And if you doubt his access to those platforms, I would encourage you to look at who he was hanging out with at the Inauguration.
Now, letโs take a look at my social media usage.
I frequently post on social media for work. Itโs my job to make you follow me and get you interested in listening to my show. I post a question each morning on Facebook with the goal of pushing you to answer and share your take. I also use Twitter (I wonโt call it the Gulf of America either) to let you know what is coming up on the show. Iโll also like and retweet certain posts to engage my followers.
All of this is exactly what Iโm talking about. I use social media to draw your interest. The difference with me though is I donโt use your private information. I donโt, nor should I, ever have the most private information of your life. Not only is it illegal, but itโs morally wrong.
Time will tell if Iโm right about this. Although, I think itโll be a short period of time.
The biggest question of all is if youโll notice.
Good riding with you,
Joel
