FARGO (KFGO) – A Moorhead woman could face charges after she and two others suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash on I-94 in Fargo Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. near the S. University Drive exit.
The Highway Patrol says Fatuma Osman, 43, was driving an SUV westbound when she lost control on the snow and ice. The SUV went off the road, through the north ditch, and crashed into a row of trees before rolling onto its roof.
Osman and her passengers, 21-year-old Sumago Hassan and a boy who are both from Moorhead, were taken to Sanford Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Highway Patrol says that while the scene was still active, four other vehicles were involved in crashes and others went off the road to avoid crashes. It says this was because drivers were looking at the crash scene and not paying attention to the road.
The crash is under investigation.
