WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) – A Wahpeton man is facing charges for allegedly having child sex abuse material and methamphetamine.
Court Records say investigators from the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation found 70 files of child sex abuse material in cloud storage linked to 44-year-old James Hume. Several videos depicted adult men sexually abusing young girls.
Investigators searched Hume’s Wahpeton residence, and found meth, meth paraphernalia, and two handguns. Hume is prohibited from owning firearms due to previous violent felony convictions.
Hume is in the Richland County Jail.
