NISSWA, Minn. (KFGO) – Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk says an eight-year-old boy was flown to a Twin Cities hospital by medical helicopter after he fell from a ski lift chair Monday night. Welk says it happened at Mount Ski Gull in rural Nisswa.
Deputies and first responders found that the boy had fallen 30-40 feet. Welk says he was treated on the scene before he was transported by Life Link helicopter. The boy’s name and condition have been been released.
Assisting were the Ski Gull Ski Patrol, North Memorial Ambulance and the Pillager Fire Dept.
