ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO-WCCO) – One person was shot to death Friday night on a Green Line light rail train in St. Paul.
Metro Transit police say officers were called around 8:30 p.m. about a shooting that happened on the westbound train as it approached the Hamline Avenue Station.
A man was found on the train with gunshot wounds and later died at a hospital.
No one else was hurt in the shooting. Names are not released.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and St. Paul police are assisting Metro Transit police in finding out what led to the shooting.
