MOORETON, N.D. (KFGO) – Multiple agencies helped rescue an employee of a southeast North Dakota grain elevator who got stuck in a bin Friday afternoon.
Rescue crews responded to Minn-Kota Ag Products west of Mooreton and found the employee trapped up to his shoulders near the door. The man was pulled from the bin.
Mooreton assistant fire chief Joseph Pikarski says the employee didn’t have any obvious injuries, but was flown to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo by Sanford AirMed as a precaution.
Fire departments from Wyndmere, Lidgerwood, and Wahpeton, as well as CHI St. Francis Ambulance, and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
