Michaels nominated for North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year by national association

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (KFGO) – KFGO’s Jack Michaels has been nominated for North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association.   

Michaels is the Sports Director for KFGO and 740 The Fan. He is the radio play-by-play broadcaster for the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks, University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks football, and high school sports.   

UND hockey play-by-play broadcaster Tim Hennessy was also nominated for the award which will be presented to the winner next summer in Greensboro, North Carolina.   

This past summer, Michaels was named the 2024 American Association Broadcaster of the Year.
