Several people injured in early morning fiery crash on icy road in Felton, Minn.

CLAY COUNTY, MINN. (KFGO) – Several people were injured in a fiery early morning vehicle crash in Felton, Minnesota.

Clay County Sheriff’s officers and other first responders were dispatched to the crash at the Felton Country Store and gas station on Highway 9 shortly after 6 this morning.

Everyone was out of the vehicle, but it was engulfed in flames. The injuries were minor, and no one was taken to the hospital.

Deputies learned that the vehicle driver lost control on the icy highway and slid into a power pole damaged from the fire but it didn’t cause a power outage. It’s still unclear what caused the vehicle to start on fire.

Authorities say a passenger in the vehicle was arrested on an outstanding Cass County warrant.
