DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KFGO) – The wife of a Detroit Lakes missionary killed in Africa has been arrested in connection with his death.
Lakes Area Vineyard Church lead pastor Troy Easton says Beau Shroyer was killed in a violent attack Friday while serving in Angola, Africa. Shroyer’s wife, Jackie, was arrested earlier this week.
Shroyer was a member of Vineyard Church and former Detroit Lakes police officer who was serving with SIM USA.
The couple has five children who Easton says are being well cared for.
Shroyer was 44.
