BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley says 50 states and territories have made significant settlements and cooperation agreements with Heritage Pharmaceuticals and Apotex totaling $49 million.
The money resolves allegations that both companies engaged in widespread, long-running conspiracies to artificially inflate and manipulate prices, reduce competition, and restrain trade for numerous prescription drugs.
People who bought certain generic prescription drugs in the the U.S. between 2010 and December 31st, 2018, could be eligible for money under the settlements.
