MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – Target has announced that it will offer a discount this holiday season, with Thanksgiving meals that can feed four people starting at just $20.
The offer from the Minnesota-based retailer comes as Target continues to try to regain inflation-weary consumers. Customers will get a frozen turkey, potatoes, canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup, a boxed stuffing mix, and jarred gravy.
Target joins retail competitors, Aldi and Walmart, as well as some fast-food chains, looking to give customers a price break.
Over the summer, Target said that it would implement around 5,000 price cuts on everyday name brand and in-house items.
The retailer said in May it expected its reduced prices to “collectively save consumers millions of dollars” on household items like milk, diapers, and other products.
