MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Fire crews were called to Menards around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday for a fire alarm activation.
Battalion Chief Justin Rosenfeldt says it was a small fire that started in an electrical aisle.
“When we arrived here, the sprinkler system had activated and extinguished the fire prior to our arrival,” Rosenfeldt says. “The building was full of smoke. There is some water damage from the sprinkler system, but it did do its job and keep it from spreading.”
Rosenfelt says no one was hurt and everyone was out of the building by the time the first firefighters arrived.
The cause is under investigation.
