HOLLYWOOD, CA – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made his late-night TV debut as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate Monday night appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.
Walz talked about his background as a high school teacher, a coach, and ending gun violence and school shootings.
He said, “We don’t have to live this way,” and called out Donald Trump for telling school shooting survivors to “get over it” and JD Vance for saying those tragedies are “just a fact of life.”
On the lighter side, Kimmell asked how Walz keeps Vice President Harris listed in his contacts, and he responded, “My dry cleaner.” Walz also talked about his hotdish, how Bruce Springsteen’s song, “The River” changed his life, and how he saved the vice resident’s name in his phone as his “dry clearer.”
