PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. (KFGO) – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to a semi rollover crash just before 11 yesterday in rural Parkers Prairie.
The semi was loaded with gravel and heading north on Parkers Road near 108th Street. The Sheriff’s office says it appears the passenger side of the vehicle went onto the soft shoulder of the gravel road, causing the semi to drive into the east ditch. After entering the ditch, it came to a stop, but was leaning to the right enough to cause it to rollover.
The driver, Dick Miller of Garfield, 73, was not wearing a seatbelt and became trapped inside the semi. Miller was freed from the wreck and transported to Douglas County Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Parkers Prairie EMS and North Ambulance.
