MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO/WCCO) – Friends and family of the two people killed by a drunk driver outside the Park Tavern in St. Louis Park are distraught Tuesday after the man charged in their death was given supervised release.
It’s been one month since Park Tavern employee Christina Folkerts and Gabe Harvey were killed, and several others injured after 56-year old Stephen Bailey allegedly plowed into the patio at Park Tavern. Bailey was over the legal limit for driving. He posted a $500,000 bail shortly after being arrested.
Bailey was granted a supervised release into a sober living facility.
Those who knew the victims were visibly upset as they left the courtroom.
Bailey is set for release on Oct. 24 and his next court appearance has been set for Dec. 10. Bailey faces two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and nine counts of criminal vehicular operation.
