RD Offutt offices
FARGO (KFGO) – There could be a move in the future for the Fargo Public School District offices downtown.
The school board approved a motion to direct administrators to make an offer of $7.3 million to buy the R.D. Offutt Company headquarters building on 7th St. just south of Island Park. If the offer is accepted, the district would attempt to sell the district office building on 4th St. N.
Board member John Rodenbiker says the Offutt offices would be a “unique and almost perfect fit” for the school district. He says the district has outgrown its current location and is in need of updating. The Offutt building would be move-in-ready, complete with office fixtures.
R.D. Offutt plans to move its offices to the new Block 9 Tower on Broadway once construction is complete. Offutt is a partner in construction of the multi-million building.
