Jack Michaels wins 2024 American Association Broadcaster of the Year award

FARGO (KFGO) – RedHawks play-by-play broadcaster Jack Michaels has been named the 2024 American Association Broadcaster of the Year.

This summer was Michaels’ 19th season with the RedHawks. He was the team’s first play-by-play broadcaster, from 1996 to 2005. He rejoined the team in 2015.

Michaels’ signature ‘Track it Down, Marge!’ home run call has become synonymous with RedHawks baseball. Marge is Michael’s mother.

Michaels is the voice of sports on KFGO and 740 the Fan. He’s worked in broadcasting for 32 years in Fargo and Bismarck.
