JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – Jamestown police arrested a man after a shooting incident.
An off-duty officer reported hearing gunshots in the southeast part of the city early Wednesday. More reports of shots were heard and officers responded to the area where they found a parked and unoccupied late-model SUV riddled with bullet holes. No other vehicles or homes were struck by gunfire and there were no injuries.
A search of the area and evidence collected led Jamestown and Valley City Police, and the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office to the arrest of Mikah Striefel, 22, of Jamestown, several hours later on charges of felony reckless endangerment, felony criminal mischief, and unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits.
Police say it appears the victim involved is known to Striefel and was a targeted incident. but rather a targeted incident
