MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) – Eventide Senior Living Communities has announced a merger with Nebraska-based Tabitha Senior Care.
The affiliation is expected to become effective Oct. 1, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the final agreement.
Eventide will assume the role of the parent company.

Shanks, President and CEO of Tabitha.
Eventide was founded in Moorhead in 1951, with locations in Fargo, West Fargo, Jamestown, and Devils Lake.
With 1,200 full and part-time employees, Eventide serves over 1,000 residents daily.
Tabitha was founded as an orphanage in Nebraska in 1886.
