MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) — A makeshift memorial has been set up along the Red River in Moorhead near where 14-year-old Jaelyn Walker was killed.
The memorial includes things like a Hello Kitty blanket, plushies, and other items.
Walker’s ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old Isaac Arndt, is charged with her murder.
Police say Arndt admitted to stabbing Walker 13 times after they met at Goosberry Park before he dragged the body to near the Red River.
Bail for Arndt has been set at $1 million with conditions. He is in the Clay County jail.
Walker would have started school on Monday as a freshman at Moorhead High.
