BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says three people were injured, including two children, in an ATV crash involving a DUI that occurred in a ditch along Highway 83 north of Bismarck. The crash happened around 8:30 on Saturday night.
The driver, 43-year-old Bryce Weisbeck of Bismarck, overcorrected the ATV and rolled in the ditch. Weisbeck and a 9-year-old boy were ejected. Both had serious, non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sanford-Bismarck. A second passenger, a 7-year-old girl, had minor injuries. Weisbeck was charged with DUI With a Minor.
No seat belts or helmets were worn during the crash.
