ST. PAUL, Minn. – More than 200,000 long-term care workers may qualify for bonuses of up to $1,000 from the state of Minnesota.
Carol Anthony with the Department of Human Services says employers may submit applications for the Minnesota Care Force Incentive Program until Sept. 30.
“We know how important the work of our direct care support professionals is, and how needed they are in order to serve and support some of our most vulnerable Minnesotans,” Anthony says. “We’re really thrilled to roll this out as a ‘thank you’ for the work that they’ve done.”
Anthony says the department will contact provider organizations that qualify later this year.
