BUXTON, N.D. (KFGO) – Two women were injured in a crash on I-29 north of Buxton Sunday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a car and SUV were northbound around 11:20 a.m. when the SUV rear-ended the car. The car ended up in the median and the SUV came to a stop on the shoulder of the interstate.
The 29-year-old Grand Forks woman driving the car, Alissia Hernandez, and 19-year-old Kaydance Mays of Hope – who was a passenger in the SUV – were both injured and taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
The driver of the SUV, 24-year-old Zachary Roller of Reynolds, was not hurt.
All three people were wearing seatbelts.
The Highway Patrol says charges against Roller are pending.
