FARGO (KFGO) – A Moorhead woman is facing multiple charges after being accused of assaulting three people in Fargo.
According to court records, police responded to a report that a woman, identified as Kimberly Soper, choked one woman, pulled another woman’s hair, and punched a man Wednesday night in the parking lot of Simonson Station Store on Main Avenue in Fargo.
One victim says she was walking to her car when Soper approached her speaking incoherently. The woman got into her car and shut the door. She says Soper opened the door and continued speaking incoherently before grabbing her by the throat and choking her.
The victim says Soper also bit her ear.
When officers arrived, they found two young children in Soper’s car, along with open bottles of alcohol.
They say Soper smelled of alcohol and refused breath and chemical tests.
She was booked into the Cass County jail and has been charged with felony child neglect and aggravated assault. She’s also been charged with two counts of simple assault, actual physical control with minors in the vehicle, and test refusal.
