BISMARCK, ND (KFGO) – North Dakota airline boarding numbers show it was the busiest July on record for air travel at the state’s eight commercial service airports.
Boarding numbers reached 112,141 passengers for the month. The previous record of 111,209 passengers was in July 2014.
Hector International Airport in Fargo also hit a new record last month with 48,344 passenger boardings. The previous July record was set in 2023 with nearly 45,000 boardings.
“The rising passenger numbers continue to be a positive indicator of the confidence travelers have in our airports and the broader economic outlook of North Dakota,” said Kyle Wanner, Executive Director of the NDAC.
