FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – A man with no permanent address was arrested on two counts of attempted murder after a stabbing in downtown Fargo shortly after the Pride Parade.
Police have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Michael Hurteau.
Around 3:30 Sunday afternoon, officers were called to the corner of Broadway and 4th Avenue North.
They arrived to find several people, who police say were known to each other, had been in a fight and stabbing.
Two victims had serious, non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital to be treated.
Police say this incident is not believed to be related to the Pride Parade.
The investigation is ongoing.
