ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Dept. of Health is confirming three more measles cases in unvaccinated children in Anoka, Hennepin, and Ramsey Counties.
One case was confirmed Monday and the other two on Thursday. Two of the children needed hospitalization. Initial symptoms include high fever, cough, runny nose, and watery eyes, followed by a rash that typically spreads from the head to the rest of the body. The health dept. is urging parents to make sure their children are vaccinated.
Minnesota has confirmed 15 measles cases this year.
