MINNEAPOLIS – A Red Lake, Minnesota man will spend five years in federal prison for child neglect resulting in death.
Court documents say Julius Fineday, 42, deprived a child of food, health care, and other basic needs. It happened from Jan. 1 and christmas day 2022.
Prosecutors say Fineday and his co-defendant, Sharon Rosebear, failed to help the child’s head lice, bring them to school, or take them to a doctor for three years other than for COVID vaccinations that the defendants received cash incentives for.
The judge says Fineday neglected the child in nearly every way.
Rosebear was convicted of felony child neglect in April.
