PEKIN, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle crash on ND Highway 1 about 1⁄2 mile east & one mile north of Pekin, N.D. yesterday evening just after 4.
The driver was traveling northbound on ND Highway 1 and for unknown reasons lost control, tipped the bike and was thrown from the motorcycle, sustaining serious life-threatening injuries.
The 63-year-old Cooperstown man was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The name of the individual involved will be released at a later date. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
