FARGO (KFGO) – A Jamestown, North Dakota woman has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison in a case in which the US Attorney’s Office says she traded stolen guns for methamphetamine.
The three guns were among 35 taken in a burglary at a federally-licensed gun dealer in Jamestown.
April Bergman received the pistols about a year ago. Bergman was already a convicted felon and was not supposed to have any guns. The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Fargo and Jamestown police and the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
Bergman was sentenced in Fargo by US District Court Judge Peter Welte.
