Man jailed on drug charges following traffic stop near Barnesville

BARNESVILLE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Rochester, Minnesota man is in the Clay County Jail in Moorhead on drug charges after his arrest on I-94 near Barnesville Tuesday afternoon.

Moorhead Police and other agencies conducted a traffic stop and seized 1,000 fentanyl pills and cocaine with an estimated street value of $10,000. Investigators say the drugs were on their way to Fargo-Moorhead. Antonio Johnson, 33, is expected to face several drug charges.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Fargo Police, Minnesota State Patrol, Cass County Drug Task Force, North Dakota BCI and agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration assisted with the stop and arrest.
