FARGO (KFGO) – A Go Fund Me page says an 18-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries when his vehicle rolled in north Fargo a week and a half ago graduated high school the day of the crash.
Aden Hanretty received his diploma from North High School the evening of June 2 and was hanging out with friends before going home several hours later.
Hanretty was driving on N. University Drive when the Go Fund Me page says his van hit a big puddle of water from earlier rain. The van went off the street, hit a tree, and rolled.
Hanretty was wearing a seatbelt, and the Go Fund Me page says he was “clean and sober” when the crash happened. He is hospitalized in a drug-induced coma.
The Go Fund Me page says Hanretty is not out of the woods and will have a long and expensive recovery ahead.
$6,000 has been raised so far.
