MINNEAPOLIS – The FBI raided the home of a defendant in the Feeding Our Future fraud case over an alleged plan to bribe a juror.
The raid took place in Savage Wednesday, and neighbors reported seeing FBI agents leaving with bags. Investigators said the agents were searching for evidence related to the attempted bribery of a juror.
The jury is deliberating on whether Abdiaziz Farah and six others conspired to steal $40 million in pandemic relief funds.
A juror stated that someone had left $120,000 in cash at their home, promising more money in exchange for a not-guilty verdict.
