Andrew Sandvik
FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – A West Fargo man will plead guilty for making an online post threatening President Trump. In the plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Andrew Sandvik, 47, will face a reduced sentence and the remaining counts of the indictment will be dismissed.
Sandvik admits to posting a message on his Facebook account last August that read: “TRUMP I AM THREATENING YOUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE! YOUR SS CANNOT PROTECT YOU FROM ME!”
The maximum penalty for threatening a federal official is five years. Prosecutors have agreed to a sentence on the lower end of the guideline. Sandvik was accused of making other threats aimed at Vice President J.D. Vance, FBI Director Kash Patel and law enforcement.
Sandvik was found living in a camper on his mother’s property in south Fargo and arrested last November.
