MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – A 19-year-old man is dead and a boy is injured after a weekend shooting in Minneapolis.
Police chief Brian O’Hara says the shooting happened in an apartment in the 2500 block of 17th Avenue S. Saturday around 10:15 p.m. When officers arrived, the man was dead and the 16-year-old had a non-life-threatening injury. He was taken to Hennepin Healthcare.
Investigators say a fight among a group led to the shooting. The shooting suspects left before officers arrived.
No arrests have been made.
