National FFA Organization
(Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2026/National FFA Organization) – Four National FFA members will represent the voice of agricultural youth in Washington, D.C., during the National Ag Day celebration on March 24. FFA members, supporters and alumni are also invited to join the event, with activities taking place in Washington and a livestream available for audiences across the country.
National Ag Day is a time when producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America gather to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by American agriculture. This year’s event theme, “Together We Grow,” honors 250 years of agricultural progress since the United States was established. The National FFA Organization, the nation’s premier school-based student leadership organization with over one million members in all 50 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, was invited to participate in this year’s event.
Celya Glowacki, National FFA Manager, Advocacy, Literacy and Ag-Based Experiences, will be heading to Washington with four National FFA SpeakAg Pioneers to represent the organization: Chloe Zittergruen (Iowa), Cameron Addington (Minnesota), Kolton Stolba (Missouri) and Lauren Argotte (Indiana). SpeakAg Pioneers promote agricultural advocacy and literacy to FFA members and the public by hosting workshops, creating social media content, and attending important events.
“National Agriculture Day shines a spotlight on the people and innovations that make agriculture such a vital part of our nation,” said Glowacki. “We’re proud that our National FFA SpeakAg Pioneers will be in D.C., to share their perspectives and help tell agriculture’s story from their own unique viewpoint. Their voices represent the future of our industry, and we’re excited to see them engage with leaders on this national stage.”
Zittergruen will represent National FFA as a student panelist during the Ag Day at USDA event, which starts at 9:30 a.m. at the USDA Whitten Patio. Other activities during the USDA event will include talks from invited speakers, including U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, the opportunity to watch winning essay contest videos, and a discussion featuring commodity group leaders.
FFA members and supporters across the country are invited to join the Ag Day virtual event starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24. Register to participate in the virtual celebration here.
Other Ag Day events in Washington, D.C., include the 2026 Ag & Food Policy Summit on Monday, March 23, and the Taste of Ag Reception and Farm Journal Foundation Ag Day Celebration on Tuesday, March 24.
The National FFA Organization is a school-based national youth leadership development organization of more than 1,042,245 student members as part of 9,407 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
