NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KFGO) – A home sustained significant damage, but no one was hurt after a fire in Otter Tail County Thursday morning.
Around 4:30 a.m., a caller reported an attached garage at 106 N. Walker Avenue in New York Mills was on fire and the fire was spreading to the house. The garage is a total loss.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cause of the fire is unknown, but does not appear suspicious. It is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The New York Mills and Perham Fire Departments extinguished the fire.
