BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The state patrol has released the name of a man who died Saturday afternoon when he crashed the car he was driving south of Bismarck.
He was Lucas Speidel, 39, of Bismarck. The crash took place just after noon. The patrol says Speidel missed a curve, crossed a lane of traffic and went into the ditch. The car then hit trees in the ditch. He died at a Bismarck hospital. Speidel was not wearing a seatbelt.
The patrol was assisted by Burleigh County deputies. Bismarck Rural Fire and Metro Ambulance.
