Man dies in suburban Twin Cities house fire

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – A deadly house fire remains under investigation in the Twin Cities suburb of Golden Valley.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived late Friday night.

A man trapped in the basement was removed by firefighters but died at the scene. a woman and a police officer were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There’s no information on the cause of the fire.
