Dillion Field (Hennepin Co. Jail)
MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – A Hennepin County Jail officer has been charged with assaulting his wife shortly after giving birth.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to Maple Grove Hospital on February 5 where the victim’s mother reported that 30-year-old Dillion Field became aggressive in the delivery room.
When she went to get a nurse, field allegedly shoved her and tried to lock himself in the bathroom with his wife. The hospital briefly went into lockdown.
Prosecutors say Field has a history of abuse and that his wife had recently moved out. They cite a January call where police say he tackled her while she was nine months pregnant.
Field is on administrative leave.
