FARGO (KFGO) – Described as a Hall of Fame-caliber baseball player that built a career under relentless scrutiny, rebuilt his reputation on a national stage and who is now an owner-investor shaping professional sports franchises, Alex Rodriguez is coming to Fargo.
Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez will be the headliner for Voices of Vision, a high-impact leadership event hosted by The Chamber of Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo. He will speak on what it takes to lead when performance, reputation and capital are all on the line.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 16 at 3:45 p.m., at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
Voices of Vision brings together business and community leaders for a focused conversation on navigating pressure, managing risk and sustaining success when expectations are high.
Rodriguez is a 14-time MLB All-Star and 2009 World Series Champion with the New York Yankees. He now serves as chairman and CEO of A-Rod Corp and is co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx.
His keynote is entitled “From Strikeouts to Success: A-Rod’s Playbook for Resilience.”
“High performance is built through discipline, accountability and the ability to respond when circumstances shift,” said Shannon Full, president and CEO of The Chamber. “Voices of Vision brings leaders into direct conversation with that mindset. In a business environment defined by complexity and scrutiny, this event challenges us to think differently about resilience, risk and long-term growth.”
