DICKINSON, N.D. (KFGO) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office says a man is dead and another man is in jail following a shooting east of Dickinson.
Deputies responded late Thursday morning for a report of a man who had been shot.
The 45-year-old victim died at CHI Hospital. A 46-year-old man was identified as the suspect. He was found in a car in Dickinson and led law enforcement on a brief pursuit. He was stopped and arrested in the parking lot of the Dickinson- Stark County Public Safety Center.
The sheriff’s office, Dickinson police, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Highway Patrol and Dickinson Fire-EMS responded.
