GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – The Grand Forks Police Department wants to speak with the driver of a vehicle related to an aggravated assault investigation.
The department released photos showing the vehicle that dropped the victim off at Altru Hospital after the weekend assault.
Detectives would like to speak with the driver to find out where the victim was picked up, and any other information that pertains to the case.
Grand Forks Police say a man was taken to the emergency room around midnight on Sunday, Jan. 25 for severe lacerations to his head and arm.
The victim told officers he was assaulted with a weapon by a random man in a residential area south of the hospital.
Police say the vehicle that brought the man to the hospital is said to have been a passerby, but that person’s identity is unknown.
The victim has been treated and released for his injuries.
