GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– No. 4 North Dakota is set to escape the cold weather and head to Tempe, Ariz. for a weekend series with Arizona State beginning on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. (CT) from Mullett Arena.
All UND men’s hockey games, home and away, can be heard on Radio: AM 790 FM 104.7 | 94.1 KFGO with broadcaster Darrin Looker and Mike LaMoine calling the action.
Saturday will be the sixth all-time meeting between North Dakota and Arizona State, with ASU holding a 3-2-0 advantage in the series.
The two sides met earlier this season in Grand Forks, with UND grabbing the opener by a 5-2 score and the Sun Devils responding with a 4-2 victory in Saturday’s finale.
UND and ASU also split a series at Mullett Arena last season, as the hosts captured Friday’s contest before UND rallied back for an overtime victory in the series closer on Saturday.
