You just don’t treat people this way. To drag a grandfather in his underwear and sandals out into the cold Minnesota air just to make a spectacle of him is unforgivable. ICE did exactly that in front of his grandchild, as if it was some reward.
The man they abused is an American citizen, although it shouldn’t matter. There is no excuse for treating any human being that way, but now we’re getting used to it. We’re seeing mothers dragged from cars by their hair in front of their kids, teachers pulled from schools in front of their students, and the list goes on and on. And of course, we haven’t talked about killing people and it being recorded. That’s what had that ICE officer so upset that he shot Renee Good three times. It wasn’t a fear of being run over, but being pissed off and untouchable.
How can Doug Burgum be part of something like this? Is it really this exciting to be around powerful people that you’re willing to sell your soul? I met Doug’s mother a few times, and the woman I met would never condone this. After all those years of building a family name, just to see it destroyed out of worship.

NATO has worked, and made the whole world a better place. It was the lesson and solution coming out of one of the most vicious wars man has ever brought. You’d think seeing the whole world not trying to kill each other would be enough, but to see it prosper is icing on the cake.
It isn’t hard to see why those that hate us wish it wasn’t the case. It’s the one thing that stops Putin from doing whatever he wants. And the Trump Administration is willing to throw it all away, all because he wants an island.
Our NATO partners still know right from wrong. They still know the United States shouldn’t force the people of Denmark to give us Greenland. Hell, I believe the majority of Americans know that. The question is, who’s going to stop him?
Republicans in Congress are the only ones that can. They have the votes, but the question is, do they have the courage?
Good riding with you,
Joel
