Rigoberto Mendez-Morales
BELCOURT, N.D. (KFGO) – A man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a woman at a casino in Rolette County in far northern North Dakota.
Rigoberto Mendez-Morales is charged with one count of Felony AA murder. North Dakota court records show he was scheduled for a bond hearing on Monday, Jan. 12.
Local law enforcement and the FBI are investigating the stabbing death of a woman at the Sky Dancer Casino and Resort in Belcourt on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.
Mendez-Morales is being held in the Rolette County jail. Federal charges are also expected.
