Mind-body coach Dana Santas recommends taking a different tact this year: Develop a “keystone habit” — it’s less a resolution than a way of life. By integrating a habit deeply into your daily routine, your goals aren’t fleeting achievements you cross off. For example, you might resolve to work out more in 2026. The keystone habit version of that resolution is to devote 15 minutes of your weekday mornings to strength exercises. Eventually, Santas says, those habits will feel as natural as breathing.
