WALKER, Minn. (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy who was shot Sunday afternoon has been released from a Fargo hospital.
The deputy was shot in the thigh and is expected to make a full recovery. He was flown to fargo by medical helicopter. The man who investigators say shot the deputy was shot and killed. It began with a foot pursuit.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has taken over the investigation.
